Mount Shasta, located in Northern California, is renowned for its natural beauty and spiritual significance. Many consider this mountain sacred, and it has been a destination for those seeking spiritual growth, healing, and connection. Here are some spiritual places and energy vortexes to visit in and around Mount Shasta:
Lake Siskiyou
The lake's serene environment, surrounded by forests and located at the base of Mt. Shasta with a mountain view, makes it perfect for meditation, contemplation, and spiritual reflection.
We strolled towards the lake with MK's ring secured in my pocket. Unsure of the exact words I'd use, I had mentally rehearsed various proposals, trusting the sacred energy of this place to guide me when the moment came. The lake, nestled at the base of Mt. Shasta, provided the necessary seclusion. That warm, sunlit day, 11.11.22, felt even more special because MK and I resonate with angel numbers, considering them symbolic of our journey together. It felt like the universe was signaling we were on the right path. What better day to propose?
Sitting on the rocks by the water, we meditated on the majestic Mt. Shasta. The sun bathed us in warmth, and a gentle, cool breeze reminded me of the task. Hoping the spiritual ambiance would steady my voice and ease my nerves, I prepared to ask the question. MK's playful attempts to reach into my pockets made me realize she might have guessed my intention.
Deciding it was time, I took the ring out, ready to place it on her finger. We paused our walk by the shoreline, and as I knelt, the moment's magic made me forget my rehearsed lines. Yet, her "yes" was all the confirmation I needed.
Euphoria ensued, and after our shared joy, I found a quiet spot near another rock to meditate with the snow-capped peak in front of me. As MK captured the beauty around us, a whispered voice during my meditation urged, "What are you waiting for? Jump." Shortly after, MK beckoned me, leading to a snow patch where she had etched, "Will you marry me?" To my astonishment, when I turned around, she was kneeling, a proposal ring in hand. Her artistic flair was evident as she had already positioned a camera to capture our enchanting engagement. See the video below for a sneak peek.
We had both planned to propose to one another on this trip on this perfect date. It was meant to be.
